Why I LOVE doTERRA Oils!

doTERRA is from a Latin derivative meaning “Gift of the Earth”.

I began using doTERRA oils on 20^th January 2016, I haven’t stopped yet as from that day forward I have felt emotionally and physically more robust, able and well!

Robust – my nervous system and brain often get overwhelmed by my passion, sensitivity to stress and frustration! Using Myrrh, Lavender and Vetiver directly on to my body and through my infuser has been magical

Able – I no longer fret about physical or emotional ups and downs as I know I have the right oils!

So far I have quickly relieved pulled muscles in my neck and shoulder, ongoing back pain, an injured foot from falling up the stairs! Also an inflamed ear that was fast moving in to an ear infection, blocked sinus, and a headache!

When I am speaking, training, writing or doing an interview and want to be really clear thinking, focused and able to get my words out effectively, I use Aroma Touch and some Whisper.

Well – all of the above, plus if I start to feel stressed, anxious or overwhelmed, which because of so many trapped emotions I often do, I apply and infuse oils and soon settle to being more productive, effective and grounded.

I could go on and on and on but you get the picture!

What lies behind doTERRA oils?

doTERRA Oils are harvested in their natural environment, so Lavender from France, Lemons from Italy etc.

The purity of the oils means they are easily absorbed via the skin and in to the cells, less pure oils aren’t able to offer this due to the additives in them.

Ways to use them every day for everyone!

Fast absorption points are along the spine, soles of the feet, just behind the ears and by sniffing them as the system for smell is close to the emotional memory part of our brain, the Limbic system!

You only need 2-3 drops and with some that have peppermint or camphor oil in you want to avoid your eyes (although I didn’t and just experienced some mild stinging!!)

Babies and Children (Pets too!!)

This is the joy for me that we can be using them with children and babies. Diluting them with Fractionated Coconut Oil is recommended.

Diffusing oils in your home or classroom means they will breathe them in and benefit in a very natural way, no more chemicals going in to their beautiful developing systems (although, of course medical attention is always recommended, you know your children best!)

Repeat illnesses that show up in children and babies can be linked to stress and anxiety so it is well worth using Lavender with them as a great starting point. Some of the lovely blends, like Serenity are also wonderful.
